Oh yeah! My personal self inflicted injury was about 3 weeks ago. I used the wrong contact solution! I thought I had the everyday one, but I grabbed the one (with the bright red top to alert you) that was for bi-weekly cleaning and required a special case that neutralizes the solution. Wrong case + wrong solution = screaming woman in the morning when she tries to put in the contact! Boy did I make my hubby wake up fast and come running! It was red and bloodshot for nearly 3 days! I cannot believe I was so tired I didn't notice the red cap! I thought I had double checked and remember reassuring myself I had the right one. Augh.

Ok. Ouch! I haven't done this, but I just googled this and found a gardening forum discussion on this. They recommend spraying 100% Aloe Vera on a tissue and then rubbing on eye area. Two people on there said it worked for them. They also recommended after slicing the peppers, to put vegetable oil on hands and then dish soap and wash. Then wash hands with vinegar. Hope it helps. My personal thought is...would a piece of bread soaked in cold milk and then placed on your eye as you rest help? Just a thought. They say they are helpful to eat when you burn your mouth. I can't see that it would hurt anything. I hope you are feeling better soon!

IMO- it is a transfer of responsibility! This is something we as parents should be constantly teaching our children. A half hour class isn't a substitute for a parents good example and training! I found it a very sick concept. But I am sure there are many who will spend the money to send their children. Did you see the princess puppet and the "money" they earn? Ugh. I don't want these as examples for my children! It seems to be a lesson for low self-esteem and jealousy. As I was taught at home, "No, thank you."

Remember the "last warning for Babylon the Great" WT series of four?
by kitten whiskers ini remember a series of four watchtowers that we "zealously" placed to issue the "final warning to babylon the great".
they all had pictures (if i remember correctly) of the harlot in revelation.
i think the pictures were all taken from the revelation climax book.

I remember a series of four Watchtowers that we "zealously" placed to issue the "final warning to Babylon the Great". They all had pictures (if I remember correctly) of the harlot in Revelation. I think the pictures were all taken from the Revelation Climax book. I have wondered if in the past few years if they have issued another series or anything similar to these. It was stressed over and over and made a big deal of, that this was her final warning from Jehovah, blah, blah, blah.....It would never be repeated. You remember all the hype of it don't you? Anyway, I have been waiting to laugh at that when they issue another article of warning. Have any of you heard of or seen anything like this? Even though I was a faithful JW then, I thought it positively odd to make such a statement when only Jehovah knew the end. (All these things do add up and helped me see my out!) Any observations? Any Watchtowers that have been for the public that have focused on this that you know of? It is just one more thing to add to list of lies for me.

"Here comes Peter Cottontail...hopping down the bunny trail...hippity hoppity Easter's on it's way....."
Yes. Yes. And Yes again!!! I already have the baskets, candy, toys and grass all ready to go! Hubby and I get a visit too! I remember my grandma putting out easter baskets for us when we spent the night and there is nothing sweeter than biting off that chocolate rabbit ear! This will be our third Easter. I did baskets for us all the first year, we wound up traveling for a family emergency last year, but the bunny found the kids, this year we all get a visit again! It is sooooooo much fun shopping and thinking of the memories the kids will have! I really missed not going to church last year for the special services, so we will have to go this year! Our first year we went to a Baptist church and it was beautiful! This year will be our new church that we've gone to for a year and a half. I can hardly wait!

Wonderful! I was listening to a radio show this morning taking the kids to school...they said if they didn't make Florida they'd touch down in California. But there would probably be a layover in Texas! ;o)
